Organizations today are undergoing unprecedented non-stop change. Often these rapid changes in technology, communication, and resources are not planned well, and, as a result, are simply not sustainable for the organization, the people, or the environment. In many cases, they are costing businesses millions of dollars, and the loss of market share and valuable employees. In addition, they are draining our physical environmental resources.

It is often assumed by management that if changes are important, people will just adjust to them and the change will just happen. But people don’t automatically adjust and change doesn’t automatically happen. Many of the changes that are meant to strengthen the organization actually weaken it. They leave people and teams confused, unproductive, and resentful at a time when commitment, productivity and teamwork are more important than ever. People are often left distrusting the organization’s leadership, rather than being empowered by it.

According to recent studies of human resource managers, executives and employees conducted by Development Dimensions International, 31% of employees are dissatisfied about their job, and only 29% experience high levels of trust within their organization. These workshops are designed for people and organizations who are serious about changing the way they deal with change.
